  • TONGUE DEPRESSOR

    A tongue depressor is a medical tool used to lower the tongue and let for a visual examination of mouth and throat. Shaped as a small spatula, usually is made of wood and disposable.

  • URINE CONTAINER

    To take samples it is required to use sterile urine containers with wide opening and airtight cap.

    Once collected, the sample must be transferred to the laboratory in a time not longer than 2 hours since its release. When it is not possible to transport the sample in this time lapse, the sample must be cooled down to 4°C.

  • STOOL TEST CONTAINER

    Stool test containers are used to collect and store stool samples from the patient, who usually collects it in his or her home.

    This collection can be done at any time of the day and the sample must be carried to the laboratory in an airtight container as soon as possible, never exceeding 24 hours. In any case, the sample must be stored in the fridge if it will pass a long time between its collection and its delivery. One sample is enough for a common biochemical study, but it is probable to need the collection of several samples in different days, according to the instructions of the physician.

  • SCALPEL BLADE

    Scalpel blades are made of surgical disposable steel. They are sterile and disposable, using one blade each time. They can be used for general surgery and highly specialized surgery.

  • UMBILICAL CORD CLAMP

    Sterile disposable umbilical cord clamp, with a large size for umbilical cord impingement. Allows for an adequate hold in all umbilical cords and prevents its detachment. Sterilized by ethylene oxide.

  • SURGICAL STAPLER

    Surgical stapler for skin, sterile and disposable, easy to handle. Staples are made of high quality stainless steel 317L for medical use. Each device has a 35 staple charge. It grants a painless and comfortable staple removal once the incision is healed.
